The Big Tiger Give is Albert Hill's biggest donation-based fundraiser of the year! The PTA relies on your generous donations to help our school bridge the large public school funding gap in order to cover the cost of athletics, the arts, student programs, teacher grants and appreciation activities, groundskeeping, and much more!
Again this year, the Big Tiger Give will be run through PTBoard. In response to popular demand, instead of the PTA collecting email addresses and emailing your contacts to solicit a donation, each student/family will set up their own fundraising page on PTBoard (it's easy--we promise!) and email the link to their friends and family, plus share it on social media, putting the privacy and control back in your hands.
Students can also pledge to complete an activity of their choice (reading a book, running or walking a certain distance, or any other creative act they can come up with) once their goal is made.
We hope students and families have fun with this and enjoy the greater ownership of the process. (And yes, there are still lots of prizes to be won!) Thank you for your support in making our fundraiser successful!
1) Create a campaign page to share with your family and friends.
This year we’re using PTBoard to host our Big Tiger Give Campaign Pages. (It’s the same PTBoard platform we use to create and share our weekly newsletter, The TigerEye, and other PTA announcements.)
If you already have a PTBoard account (most families probably do), log in to PTBoard and follow these instructions to start customizing your campaign page.
If you don’t yet have a PTBoard account, you’ll need to start by signing up here, then you can follow along at the link above.
2) Share your campaign page with your friends and family and ask them to donate to our fundraiser.
Consider emailing your friends and family to share your campaign page with them. We even have an email template that you can use, though of course, you are welcome to write your own email too. Click here to download the email template but make sure you have personalized it with the link to your campaign before you send it.
You can also share your page on social media, if you like.
3) For every $25 and $100 donated in your name, you’ll earn a chance to win prizes!
Remember to ask your donors to consider using a corporate matching program if they have one. More details on that can be found here. It might double or even triple their donation and you will earn even more chances to win!
If online donating isn’t preferred by your friends and family, that’s ok! We gladly accept cash and checks as well. There will be collection envelopes in the front office, and you will still get credit!

I'm excited to announce that we have launched The Big Tiger Give - our fall fundraiser for Albert Hill Middle School. The Big Tiger Give runs from Nov. 19 – Dec. 3, 2025.
We are raising money to support our school for the 2025-2026 school year. Some schools use outside companies to manage fundraisers that often keep a big percentage of the funds raised. At Albert Hill, we are running our own fundraising, and that guarantees that all funds will go directly to the PTA. In addition, because the PTA is a 501c3 just like other nonprofits, your contribution is tax-deductible.
The PTA uses funds raised to support student incentives and awards, teacher appreciation, classroom supplies, teacher grants, athletics, arts programs, and more throughout the year.
